Are you people happy with what you have built so far ?
I've found one or two interesting things but i'm not at ten presets yet.
Anyway i'm still encountering the "multiparameter default value not being saved with the active preset" frustrating bug !
IE : I have a multiparameter connected to the dry/wet, i'm trying to save it with 100% as default value but it will always be saved with 42.5% as default value, and i have no idea why !

Okay, about the "bug": Do you know about the huge button in multiparameter settings "Set current value as default", right? If so, then could it be a MIDI controller attached to it? It seems, that some hosts stupidly send MIDI controller messages even if there is no controller actually recorded, e.g. modwheel 0 is quite typical. That's why the forthcoming update will have MIDI disabled by default.

Well sorry, my bad, i found the problem : i had several multiparameters linked to the dry wet... it's an easy mistake to make, the dry/wet being the default target for the multiparemeters...

While i'm at it, i have a question about the built in modulation parameter in the reverb. Is it modulating the delay time or is it something else ?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I can't type in anything using Nuendo 5.5.4 on OSX 10.6.8 FYI.
The plugins don't take keyboard focus. It's a pretty bad situation really. Please advise if there's a workaround

Yes, well, this is Mac OS X - if host wants to steal keyboard, it just will, and every host is different. The only workaround I'm aware of is - write the text somewhere else, text editor or something, copy it to clipboard and paste it to the plugin (cmd+V or popup menu).UmFuFu wrote:I can't type in anything using Nuendo 5.5.4 on OSX 10.6.8 FYI.

It works fine here with MXXX in Reaper but some of my other plugins have this problem. Try pressing shift or alt/command while typing. This usually works for me. I'm on PC though.

On PC it usually works fine. On Mac it really depends on the host. Theoretically the plugin can steal it from the host before host steals it from the plugin
, but that's just a bad idea... Anyway I asked Apple about it, and they just said "it depends on the host"...

Okay. We'll I'm not gonna cry about it or anything. My current method is just to leave the default name that it comes up with, "Preset x". It's definitely not ideal but usable.
But if there's one improvement I'd like to see to the preset system it would be sorting this issue out so I could name them!

I'm kind of thinking about virtual keyboard, not ideal at all, but probably better than the clipboard thing...

+1 to get a fix for this problem. I'm using Live on OSX 10.7, and I'm unable to type a preset name, that's annoying.
I confirm that this is host dependent, I have the same problem on the Valhalla stuffs.
