Ok ..how to get all the modularity..button Show Play/Deep Editor
I loaded the MUX as a VST instrument in the instrument Vst rack
- i can use it now as a multi timbral instrument ?..the instruments in MUX in Cubase?
-i loaded also a MUX device and this works also multi timbral?
There is no session MUX what on forehand assigns audiochannels to a instrument rack like in MULAB
How to get the MUX vst multi timbral ?

Multi timbral = multiple timbres = sounds at the same time, in MUX language: multiple presets.
There are 2 options:
1) Plugin multiple MUXes in different tracks. Each MUX can play a sound/effect preset.
2) Use a single MUX, open its deep editor, insert a MIDI channel splitter, then connect this splitter to up to 16 different MUXes each playing its own sound/effect preset.

A event input module --> Midichannnel Splitter --> Rack 1 to needed
The audio output must be on a own midi channel ?
I can remember there was een explanation on the Mutool site for a mult Vsti
( but that doesn't work here because there is no Multi Vsti at start.. i must make first one )
It is difficult to reasoning how it must work..perhaps can someone explain the setup in words..so i get used of the way of modulair thinking ( logic of it)
------------------------------------------
Note: If you install a kontakt vst in the MUX, than the audiorouting is done in the Vsti itself with channels
Modularity in MUX is neccessary ,but also difficult to master
A midichannelsplitter makes possible that MUX as monophone synth( only one sound )gets more midichannels for multitimbral output
Ok first task: make a multitimbral synth of the MUX...can this not be as whole made as a deep editor included setup in MUX ?

janamdo, you don't have to build a multi-timbral synth yourself, you could simply insert multiple MUXes to play multiple sounds, that's much easier. I just listed that option for completeness.
It sounds that you're struggling with it, so please choose the easy way: Simply plugin as many MUXes as you want. It has the extra advantage that your host (cubase) can also automate them individually.
Choosing the easy way will get you to making music much sooner

I thought that many instances of a pluginn takes too much computer processingpower?
That is why a multitimbral vst synth is to prefer
If this is not the case with the MUX ?
The only thing is now in Cubase to get for every midichannel a audio output

No. Plug MUX in as much as you like!janamdo wrote:Thanks!

If you use multiple instances (i.e. multiple MUX plugins) then the MIDI channel story is redundant. It's just so easy to use multiple instances, go that wayThe only thing is now in Cubase to get for every midichannel a audio output
