You can certainly hear ACE's limitations in comparison to Diva when you push some setups well into audio-rate modulation territory, but despite this everything it *can* do - which is a lot - does sound really warm and alive. Analog? Analogue? Something like that ^_^
I still think the variable sync is a great feature and it's given me some crazy noises not dissimilar to the effect you get when a filter is almost resonating but falling short.
The filter is also very sweet and the way it responds to gain staging makes it really rich. The fact that you can do phase modulation and quantiziation tricks with the LFO's is just the cherry on the cake
The mapping feature for me is the dogs!! design a preset then move a cable or change a perimeter or two and you have another!! Sweeet.I will ,one day hope to purchase Diva and Zebra but for now ACE will do me fine.
