I renamed a bunch of my own presets in order to have them in order by sound type. I went into the synthmaster folder and deleted the presets with the old names but they still appear in my browser list. The preset is gone because when I select it there is no change to the sound. So how do I go about removing these empty preset files from my browser list?

Try this:

Delete the SynthMasterPresets.xml file under the presets folder. That's a cache file, it'll be rebuilt.

ah, its location was changed to:

/Users/Shared/SynthMasterTemp/SynthMasterPresets.xml (OSX)
Common Documents/SynthMasterTemp/SynthMasterPresets.xml (Win)

This didn't seem to help my problem either. Firstly, the file was in a folder named simply SynthMaster, not in the SynthMasterTemp. I moved the file to a different location just in case it didnt rebuild itself again, which it didn't. Do i need to completely delete this file?
