I own the Novation Xiosynth and M-audio Keystation 88es, and I am buying a Receptor VIP. Can I use the Xiosynth to make patch changes on the Receptor and the M-audio 88 as the keyboard controller? Any tricks I need to know to set this up?

Hello,
From the looks of it the Xio needs USB drivers to work on a computer. This means that you will most likely have to use the MIDI port coming from this controller. The Keystation you will be able to run through USB, so no MIDI merging will be needed. As for program changes on the Xiosynth, it only goes from 0-99. So as long as you don't need more presets than that, you should be fine.
Thanks,
Gary

Thanks Gary! Our drummer is going to let me try out this configuration with his Receptor.
