hi everyone

i noticed some oddities between 32bit and 64bit... (in 4.4.2 as well as in 4.4.6 runnig on win7 64bit with 12GB ram)

1. (which was prompting me to write here):
i can set the midi sync out in the 32bit version but when i right-click on the tempo in the 64bit version it only shows the recording context menu... there's no way to set the sync out in 64bit.

2. when recording faster midi sequences with my keyboard (especially drum parts) in 32bit, it skips some notes or quantisizes them with a huge latency so the sequences are pretty much unusable. however in 64-bit it works flawless. sequences recorded in 64bit play back flawlessly in 32bit.
i run reason 6.5 in both versions and did not notice any difference in recording midi in either version.

so i keep switching between the two versions (recording external gear in 32bit mode and sequneces, guitars and basses in 64bit mode) which is a little workflow killer but is manageable since the application loads very fast..

anyone noticed similar problems or has a solution?

Recording with snap ON in one version and snap OFF in the other?
Right click the note symbol next to the record button to check.

thanks for the hint!
checked it (this time only in the 4.4.6 UL version)... both versions are in 1/16 grid mode... or did you mean something else?

it's really odd that when i right-click anywhere on the transport panel in the 64bit version, it only shows the "audio recorder setup/event recorder setup" context-menu...
in the 32bit version:
- right-click on the wave-button = direct access to audio recorder setup (as described in the documentation)
- right-click on the note-button = direct access to the event recorder setup (as described in the documentation)
- right-click on the recorder button = shows the "audio recorder setup/event recorder setup" context-menu (as described in the documentation)
on the metronom button = "edit metronom sound/choose metronom sound" context-menu (as described in the documentation)
- right-click on the tempo display = "insert tempo changer/edit tempo changes/show tempo slider//choose midi clock output module" context-menu (as described in the documentation)

the last two are not accessible in the 64bit version! and the first two work neither ;)

maybe it's a bug?! is there a mulab bugtracker?

Confirmed issue. Working on a fix.

Here is a new MuLab 4.4.8 64 bit version: http://www.mutools.com/mulab/cedar/mula ... 64-exe.zip

This new version should fix the problem you described.

How to install:

* Download the zip file.
* Extract the new app file.
* Copy this new app file into your current MuLab folder, thereby overwriting the current app file.

Please confirm whether all works fine now.

issue solved!

thank you very much!!! you are awesome!!!
a rather cosmetic thing: the .exe is named 4.4.8 while the info screen shows a 4.4.7 version ;)

keep up the great work!!

btw: do you have an official bug tracker or is it ok to just post issues here in the forum?
