problem =s with sebra 2 in logic ..

I have a question wich coudnt be answerd in the forumtopics of users, so who can help me with this question .. here is the topic .. please read it ... greetings Willem


I use zebra 2, and have a problem in logic 9 with it. If i play i note, and play it back as midi zebra 2 plays it in differant octaves, but i didn't change it myself .... help me please, greetings Willem

i use Z2 all the time in L9 and have never seen that. you need to provide more info. did this just start? does it happen in every instance of zebra? are you trying this with a new file, ie a clean start?

give us more information...

EDIT: also, DUH...there's a u-he forum on kvraudio! you might want to get help THERE...!

Thank you for the quick reaction ...

i am working on a song i already made several tracks for .. and it wasnt the first time, it happened once before .. bit then i thought is was an incident .. the tone i played was in a new track i opened for the zebra ... so there can't be old settings in it think ... strange is that i played it for a couple of times, nothing changed, but it started after 4 or 5 times looping it ...

now i am using sylenth1 for the same midi .. and he is playing the same tone/cord all the time ... so other synths are not doing this ...

u should really post this in the u-he forum (right here at kvraudio). at the very least, you might get urs attention..and he IS zebra...)

I experienced this problem for a while before I realized that I had simply forgotten to authorize/activate my new install of Zebra within my new machine. Zebra naturally randomizes notes as part of its trial version limitation. This may not be your problem but I thought I would chime in on this as I had experienced this precise frustration for a while.

When you load a fresh copy of Zebra at the top does it say "Registered to [your name]"? If not then it's in demo mode and you are hearing the demo restriction.

If it does say you're registered I suggest contacting u-he support at anybody [at] u-he [dot] com with your registration info and they should sort you out.

i dont now i solved the problem, but i was using the demo again without knowing now it's ok again !! thanks !!
