How to disable program change in Live mode on VIP

I have the Muse Receptor VIP and I want to run in Live mode. Im also using a Korg CX3, occasionally as a controller. Problem is, when I make a program change on my CX3, it sends an unwanted program change to my Live setlist on the VIP. When I go to Setup, Midi mixer control, I can see that Parameter Select preset says Channel All and Midi CC Midi program change, with no way to change the channel or Midi CC info. When I select Mixer style interface, I can go to Setup and select None for Use channel and everything works correctly, with no program changes going from my CX3 to the VIP. But then when I go back to Rack style to access Live mode, the VIP seems to respond again to all unwanted program changes. Help please, we've gotta show next weekend!

Update: I have tried a different controller (Korg Triton) and problem persists. In Mixer mode I can select None for Program change, and the VIP correctly ignores program changes. But when I go to Rack mode, VIP responds to unwanted program changes. I have tried selecting a specific channel in Mixer, different from my controller, but Rack mode seems to respond to any program change on any Midi channel.

According to Muse, program changes sent to VIP can be ignored in Mixer mode, but not in Rack mode. Hopefully this will be changed in the next update.

I think Rack mode is the Musebox's interface tacked onto a real Receptor and that it's not quite finished yet.
I have been creating my multis in mixer mode because it's easier to work with...they also show up in Rack mode and work fine in "Live" mode. The only thing I'm not sure about is the use of effects. Mixer mode allows 3 per plugin/channel. Rack mode appears to have 2 for all 16 channels, each of which can be either a send or an insert. It would appear that multis created in Mixer mode lose their effects when loaded into Rack mode.

Well, the best solution is for the controller to only send out program changes when you actually want program changes to occur. I don't know if the CX-3 supports this, but I know many controllers will let you determine what gets sent with what preset selected by the user. This might not be an option on the CX-3, unfortunately.
With respect to filtering out un-wanted program changes on the VIP side of things, you are correct that Mixer mode has that functionality but Rack mode currently does not, but that is definitely something that will change in the near future, but unfortunately not before you gig this weekend.
To be perfectly honest, that is why we HAVE mixer mode in the VIP; it has functionality that the rack mode doesn't possess, and being able to switch back and forth is hugely beneficial until the rack mode has all the features of mixer mode, and more. So if you can't get your CX-3 to stop sending un-wanted program changes to the VIP, perhaps using Rack mode (and programming your presets using Snapshots) is another way to do what you want.
Another way to do this, although it might cost a little money, is to attached a MIDI filter box between the CX3 and the VIP. Midi Solutions makes a great one, and you can set it up to filter out all sorts of things.
Sorry we can't come up with a more clever near-term solution, but rest assured that this situation will get fixed in the near future as we add more features to the VIP.

Thanks Bryan.
I cannot prevent my CX3 from sending program changes, so I'm looking at a Midi Solutions box to filter out the program change info.
