The same rack like in Mulab itself i like to have on a Midi track.
I do have the MuX Synth as Vsti on a miditrack in a composer and now i want put a rack on this midi track.
I like to have the mulab situation with a rack where i can choose the sound/effect and routing.
So i must transform the playing editor after opening of the Vsti into a rack
Or is this to much asked ..

Just add a rack (module) in the MUX Synth!
The rack can be found in the Others folder.

Drag the rack on the front panel for easy access.

Or did i misunderstand something?

I loaded the MUX synth in the composertrack, than i can open a rack in the deep editor, yes.
But i like to add effects to track , so i must have a rack for the composertrack where i loaded the MUXsynth (like in Mulab too)

I want to go from a loaded MUX synth in the track to a rack
Or do i miss something?

What DAW are you using?
Doesn't it have a mixer channel where you have the synth as the first insert and the effects in the next inserts or as sends in an aux track?

Thanks
I use Cubase 6.5 and the rackconstruction is not possible like in Mulab in Cubase..as i aspected.
Normal audio routing for MUX than can i conclude, but i am not sure about Synfire what i try to use with MUX.
I have to study first the video http://www.synfire.com/content/setting- ... hared-rack how it exactly works there and than look if it fits with MUX
Although i have to set this up for MUX too for Cubase 6.5..

I have Cubase as well.
In this case i don't understand what you want to do.

Cubase offer a mixer strip with 8 inserts and 8 sends. Mulab defaults to 3 and 3. That should get your projects going.

Before i know all ins and outs of Cubase audio routing..takes time.
Using MUX + MUX synth in Cubase and in the composer, with all that modularity..perhaps there is special setup possible what i am overlooking

That is the reason of opening this thread.

Cubase is very straight forward.
Instruments go on the track or in the instrument rack, effects into mixer inserts or FX tracks.
No fancy routing as far as i am aware of.

You can still do a lot inside the MUX (synth and effect) that bypasses the Cubase limitations:
parallel (=layer) instruments or effects
serial effects
other odd routings inside the MUX.

Remember, you should be able to save a Session MUX in Mulab and load it in Cubase - haven't tried it yet :)

edit: tried the Session MUX, but it does not load.

What makes that this is not possible in Cubase ?
Limitations ..;)

The Session MUX is something special and saving presets for it may be interesting in some situations (that's why the preset file functions are also active for the Session Mux) but generally it's not recommended.

If you want to exchange MUX presets, please use 'standard' MUX presets, not Session MUX presets.

What must i do in Cubase to get same Mulab session file there playing ?

Sorry i must try be more clear..
I export a midi from a Mulab session file and imported this in Cubase again.
Than i do need the same sound as in the mulab session in Cubase.
The question now is how do i get the same sound in Cubase as in Mulab itself? :)

Why don't you stay in MuLab?

Post

It looks like Janamdo has changed DAW from from MuLab to Cubase, bought MUX and now wants to load his old MuLab sessions in Cubase, like that.

I don't think it's that easy, because MUX does not have the sequencer that MuLab has.
