Weird Turnado question: disable effect on/off on macro turn?

I know that this may seem completely contrary to what Turnado is all about, but is there any way to make it so that the main controller/macro does NOT activate the effect, instead having that mappable to a separate parameter? The thing is that there are so many cool presets and modulation possibilities in Turnado that it would be really useful if you could map a pad or key to on off, and have the macro retain its modulation functionality.
