I bought a used Receptor 1 Rev C and have installed OP-X Pro. I have a crossgrade license waiting for me at Plugorama/ilok however I do not currently have an ilok as it has not yet been needed. The only software it appears that I need the ilok for is OP-X Pro. Do I buy the ilok to authorize/activate OP-X Pro or do I buy the upgraded OP-X Pro II and will that work without the ilok.
OP-X Pro will install as an unsupported plugin but when I first access it and the registration window pops up my Receptor seems to hang/freeze and I cannot enter the license information. I am using a usb keyboard and a usb mouse. I would rather not spend $50 on an ilok for one piece of software. But I cannot figure out a way to install OP-X Pro otherwise and I cannot discern if OP-X Pro II will not have this same problem on a Receptor 1 Rev C. If anyone has had experience successfully activating either OP-X product on a Receptor 1 without an ilok I would love to learn how to do that.
Thank you,
Keith

Hi Keith,
For what its worth, I have authorized and used both OPX Pro, and OPX Pro II on my Receptor (Pro 2 +). I do recall doing the same for OPX Pro on a Receptor 1 series.
Not sure about the hanging - but you may wish to just let it sit for a bit. It's possible that a disk check (fsck) might be activated after doing an unsupported install.
Not sure this helps - but good luck,
Kevin L
