I set an XY pad to respond to CC2 (as an experiment to see how it worked), but now I want to undo it and don't see a way. This seems like a global setting & survived restarting Logic.

Post

right-click the XY dot and choose midi unlearn X or midi unlearn Y.

bmrzycki, I don't see a MIDI Unlearn option in the context menu. (Just MidiLearn X Axis, MidiLearn Y Axis | Filters, FilterMod, EnvSpeed, EnvDyn)

Post

Locate the XY tab down below and you will find the respective XY knobs, try there.

Thanks 3ee, found it there on the knob.

My apologies, I was working from (incorrect) memory. Glad you got it sorted.

We need an unlearn ALL midi button :)

I use Glenfiddich for that.
If you have to ask, you can't afford the answer

Ran into this last night, set one controller knob to two inputs...even knowing about the XY panel, it took a while to sort out.

The XY page looks pretty powerful, still there should be a "clear" option where you set the Midi learn for the control.

I LOVE how the control remains remembered... wonderful for one-synth-fits-all users (like me)... does it cause problems with other soft synths with the DAW (Ableton) in OMNI mode?
Retired, Bored and ready to WRECK the JOINT... gonna drop some OLD-STEP, ya'll!!

I prefer Ardbeg, Laphroig or Lagavulin.

Problem un-learning MIDI assignments.
Followed the tip here in this thread and:

Using Logic X with scaleable plugin windows and when I try to right-click the knob while in midi learn setup mode, all I get is an option to scale the plugin window

If I right click it while in normal operational mode, all I get is the LOCK button.

Would very much appreciate if someone could help me out of this

Solved! Went into the midi table (to the right of midi learn button) and deleted them all.
