Hi
Any sign that its still being developed?
The latest beta was a few years ago.
Maybe Apple bought it and will be included with Logic Pro X in 2019 :)

Very strange.
A synth this popular gets no development at all. Wish it were 64bit mac before they stopped developing it.

maybe the developer have serious issues with is health? maybe he try to suffer without telling details to the public?

hopefully not, but for me this could be an answer.
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

thanx for the head up Doug1978!

finally, i found this and i copy/paste it here because the thread was closed.

"Please keep your ridiculous rumours and speculations to yourselves, here are some FACTS:

1. Sylenth1 is not, was not and never will be abandoned.
2. The source code did NOT get lost.
3. The last update was May 2010, not 3 years ago.
4. We provide full and fast support on daily basis via email for any problems or questions our customers may have. (However, questions and speculations about future updates/products will be ignored, so don't bother asking. This has always been the case and will always continue to be. This does not mean we are not working on new updates/products (in fact we are), it just means we choose not spread rumours about them).
5. Any future posts on this forum that contain rumours and gossip will be deleted permanently.
6. This topic will be closed
."

pfff... :D i personally dont like the tone you have towards your loyal customers mr. addink.

i'm glad that i dont bought the sylenth, i thought about buying it many, many times. this "statement" openend my eyes. your customers only speculate that much about sylenth because the plug is a very important part of their (musical) life, you dont need to feel been "attacked" or something but rather proud.

if you dont understand that i feel sorry for your customers..

being the maniac i am: when i find the same obsession viá devs, that is what i really love and often that is the last step that forced me to buy (like valhalladsp - read his manifesto then you know what i mean).

ps. the three years since may 2010 are in front..

Waited an absolute age for UAD to update their mac plugins to 64bit and they're a big established company (and its beta), so god knows how long we'd have to wait for Sylenth1 to refresh.

If you love the synth and it's working why stop using it?

I don't understand your logic here. That's like saying "I like the guitar but it hasn't drastically changed since electric came along, therefore I'm going to stop using guitars."

am using Logic 64bit. ALL of my plugins are now 64bit AUs...except sylenth1. so it works, but logic's 32bit bridge crashes frequently (but it's survivable..).

rumors (HA! rumors...) suggest that the next version of logic (which, to be fair, people have been talking about for 3 years already) will NOT support 32bit plugins.

so...future-proofing. plus, in the present, i cannot use the final version (the beta) in logic, so often find myself buying soundbanks that REQUIRE the beta)...

but yes, i do love this plugin and for now, am still using it a lot...
