Where does the noise in the Soft Bells FN preset come from?

The 'Soft Bells' waveform in both oscillators.
Make a new empty preset and change (right click) the Osc 1 waveform to SFZ Instruments > Particular Sound > Soft Bells. You will hear the "hissing" of the upper freqs.
The other part of the answer is you can't change this (afaik) but you can try to eq/filter it out.

Ah, you're right. Thanks for the tip. I didn't realize it was in both oscs so I thought it might be coming from somewhere else. I'll try changing EQ then. So, rather than looking for a noise function when I need that, I should look for noisy waveforms. Got it.
