Ok so after hitting a stump in Mulab with the vocoder, I decided to try it in FLStudio. I hit the same problems there. I'm using the SynthmasterFX dll to do this.

What does work: I can get audio input and change the oscillators to vocode my voice.

What doesn't work: In Mulab and FLStudio i have a constant audio stream. In Mulab i can at least use my keyboard to play my voice but I get multiple voices. In FLStudio(demo and i dont know how to use it very well) I can't even get MIDI through put.

Am I doing something wrong or is this feature currently broken?

Thankyou,

if you can get MIDI into the FX version of SM it should work.

For the vocoder, you should set the carrier and modulator correctly though.

My setup is as follows:

Audio from my microphone go directly into SMFX. I enable the vocoder in the effects tab and turn the mix to 100. The vocoders modulator is the audio input. After wards I go back and change the layer 1 Oscillator to a saw. I can hear my voice changed but i'm not pressing keys. when i press keys the key i press plays along WITH the constant stream of audio.

Is my setup incorrect?
