what are these ovd files?

I've been noticing MuLab creates OVW files & I'm curious how they are used. Should I keep them around? Seems like some of them are made in relation to files I don't remember saving anything about.

They're just used to speed up the displaying of large audio files. You don't have to bother about them, it's all automatic, so you can keep on creating music
