Someone posted this pic over at the Ableton forums, and it hit me that it's very likely this is why you chose to name your flagship synth Zebra!
If not, crazy coincidence eh?

Hah! I always wanted to do a collage like that myself.

But yes, the idea was using the Zebra pattern as a metaphor for a synth keyboard, but a bit more organic and alive than what I had known.

Very cool. Still my favorite product of yours! I love wavetable soft synths, and if they're semi modular even better!

always thought the name "Zebra" is inspired from the Valis Trilogy written by P.K Dick....
