No, Share-It STILL sucks.

I intended to post to my previous thread on Share-it but it seems to have been deleted.
It's been said a thousand times over and it will be said a thousand times again. Share-It stinks. I know that Urs have gotten better service from them since the release of Diva, but for me - sorry for saying it plainly - a turd is still a turd even if you plant pretty flower around it.
How is it possible that Share-It services is the ONLY payment system that delays my order at least 24 hours each time I buy something from them? Now, I finally snatched Zebra and was expecting an evening with exploring sounds - but obviously not. Although I have a long history of previous purchases I have to go through the same procedure each time I buy from them. Do they think I'm a fugitive druglord or something?
Yes, I am spoiled by getting my software as soon as I pay for it. And a delay of 24 hours is not going to kill me. But what annoys me is that this only happens with Share-It. All other developers that are using different systems gladly accept my money and give me the software within minutes.
Seriously - what's so important and unique with Share-It for you guys at Uhe? I mean - even if it uses a complex generation of keys, laser coding of subliminal messages, that must be a walk in the park for you guys. You code way more advanced stuff.
Rant over for this time. But boy how I hate Share-It. And their user management pages are exceptionally confusing. Do they really want customers? Baah!

If I understood well, Share-it is great for devs as they take care of all the tax issues that come with selling worldwide.

They may suck in general, but they're reasonable for our products.jacqueslacouth wrote:And where in god's name do they get their exchange rates????

Yes, I have actually backed out of buying products when I saw that Share-it was the only payment option. In fact, I did that with Diva for a while then came back and forced myself to go through it when I saw that it hardly ever came up for sale on KVR.

i did buy ACE, Jamstix and IIRC REAPER too with ShareIt - never had a problem, stuff was always delivered instantly
I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

That's because Share-It is built upon a random generator where some users - no matter how much they buy and how clear their record is - are set to Suck-mode.Burillo wrote:i did buy ACE, Jamstix and IIRC REAPER too with ShareIt - never had a problem, stuff was always delivered instantly
It was like this eight years ago. No improvement what-so-ever.
They really really really really don't deserve to exist.

In all honesty - it isn't something I have done for the last couple of years. But three-four years ago I tried real hard and only succeeded to have a not-so-enlightening conversation with people (or maybe the whole process was automated) with pre-written replies.Burillo wrote:maybe contact ShareIt directly?
Maybe they have changed - but absolutely nothing points in that direction.
Got the codes now BTW. Installation of Z2.5 imminent.

My, this worries me for my up-coming Diva purchase.
We MUST BE BRAVE! Share-it IS the crucible that U-he users must surmount, perhaps it's what builds our character?
I just hope Diva won't sit on my processor and FLATTEN IT!
(Yes, she's fat and not too bright... but the ever cerebral Zebra needs counter-weight. STAT!)

Ok, that's enough.
If you have a problem, contact us and we'll solve it with our account manager at ShareIt. We do it all the time, it's the normal way to get things solved.
Accusing our payment processor for things that we have solved is just plain badmouthing. To be precise, we have no "random checks", we have no excessive currency conversion rates.
