Hey,

Just got an email from MacProVideo telling me about a new product Diva Demystified.

http://www.macprovideo.com/tutorial/diva-demystified

I purchased right away cause it ain't that expensive and you can get 25% with the code 13janDiva25

Didn't know this was in production, I think it will be pretty useful.

I have a MPV sub and watched probably more than half of it as it came out.

I guess it's a good tutorial but not great IMO + it's very boring if you already know Diva very well. :D

how about a diva beginner? What prevents it from being a great tutorial in your opinion?

I'm a beginner in diva, and I think its a great tutorial.

There are 3 tutorial prewievs at the tutorial homepage which maybe could help you make your own opinion

Not sure but the overall feel and some, fairly rare occasion where info isn't quite correct AFAIK.
I did say it was a good tutorial tho, :) ...even better for the beginner.

I would at least wait until one of their many 50% off sales.

I'm not a huge fan of MacProVideo in the first place, and the previews didn't seem any different from the other disappointing videos I've watched.

Glad to see someone come out with a fairly comprehensive and logically organized tutorial on a U-He synth.

I really don't like how all macprovideos downloads are in a proprietary .ned file format. You have to download their player to view them...a really bad marketing decision if you ask me. I store all my many tutorials in a single folder all organized into company and product sub-folders - except theirs - which when running Windows have to be kept on the C drive in their folder (reminds me of the equally horrid Zinio Reader).

I'm sure they're only trying to protect their intellectual property, but I think this is counter-productive. I am not inclined to buy anything from them...much prefer Groove3.
