KV331 Audio

Hello,

I'm constantly getting crash inside Maschine. I got newest synthmaster version. Also hanging notes sometimes like someone said in the other thread.

Oh and the crash happens like randomly when I change settings or browse presets or open synthmaster.. And I'm using it in 64bit.

Are you running the DAW as administrator?

You're on Windows right?

Yeah it crashes when I ran it as administrator too (dunno if that's default or not), but anyway I tried it just as administrator. And yes I'm on windows 7.

I've noticed a problem with the latest version, it has to do with the buffering. Could be related to this as well. I think it's time for me to order a Maschine micro.

I'll try to fix this buffering problem until tomorrow night my time.

Hey I uploaded the update for Windows. The FX version is not complete yet (need to implement delay for the audio inputs) but the Synth version works flawlessly!
I am thinking that it'll now work inside Maschine as well!

(I've did some extensive testing with Reaper, by changing buffer sizes, looping, changing tempo etc...

)

Thanks for quick support!

Anyway it felt a bit more stable but I got it to crash still. By more stable I mean it didn't feel like it will crash when I changed the tabs quickly and spammed presets (felt more responsive). But it did crash when I closed the Synthmaster window and opened it again...

I should try it with 32bit maschine too but don't have synthmaster32 installed atm.

If you could do a clean install of the 32bit v2.5.4.150, that'd be great. (I mean the full setup:

Finally got my Maschine and installed it! Time to debug

EDIT: This could be related to a prior bug where an instance of SynthMaster is deleted and then re-created again...

Hi,

Iam also getting a repeatable crash in Maschine but on Mac OS X (10.8.3)+latest Synthmaster MAC download+Maschine 1.8.2 R247 using SynthMaster as a VST in 32bit mode.

I have saved a number of presets (with 32bit maschine) and sounds on maschine (e.g. bass). When I use maschine to switch between them always on the third change I get a click through the sound card (44000, quality draft, buffer normal) and the audio goes dead.

Basically I need to restart maschine to get it working again. Behaviour doesn't seem to be there in the 64bit Vst but in the 32bit vst.

If I browse with the preset manager of the synth, switching presets seems to be fine.

Strange. Iam using this great synth a lot in Maschine but at the moment at 32bits not having much luck.

Any ideas?

Could you possibly get the latest version if you havent done yet? I had a new update last night.

Also, could you email me those Maschine presets so I can open them up with Maschine and debug? If you can tell me the steps to reproduce that'd be awesome!

Hi,

Any news on this problem? Did you get my email with the example presets you asked?

About 15-20% of the Factory presets result in an click and then no sound for the 32bit Mac VST & AU even if I select them directly in the browser. If I disable some of the effects units I can get some presets to come back to playing.

Let me know if I can help testing etc.
