I don't think this can be done on the front panel of a Mux, but I'll ask. I would like for the user to be able change the Note to Modulation Converter\Velocity polarity from the front panel of a Mux without seeing the entire dialog box for the module.
I found that I could drag the module to the front panel, and then the user could double-click on it and make the same selections I would make in the Deep Editor, but I would like to have a more simple switch and be able to rename the control. I don't find that a knob can be assigned to a Note to Modulation Converter module, so that option seems to be off the table.
(Why would I want to do this? The synth I'm using has the parameter I'm muxing set to a middle value by default, and I'm modulating it with velocity. With velocity polarity turned on, a softer strike sets the parameter below the default value, which can sound good. On the other hand, turning the velocity polarity off means that the default setting for the parameter is the lowest possible reaction to velocity, which can also sound good. I need to let the user have the simple choice without having to think about what polarity means, or what the other two parameters do in the Note to Modulation Converter module.)
Very surprised and pleased by what Mux can do, regardless. Many, many possibilities. Wonderful work.
Putting a switch on the front panel of a Mux?

I agree it would be great if the MUX front panels would be even much more customizable. That's on the wishlist. Not an easy challenge though, it needs some good research and thinking.

An idea on how to manage the switch would be to have two have inputs. then the switch changes between one or the other input. If you only want to turn one input on or off just use one input and keep the second input blank. You should have a switch for each of the three types of data for maximum control.mutools wrote:I agree it would be great if the MUX front panels would be even much more customizable. Just a thought though
