TyrellN6 for Mac using DP7 - Cannot see or load Presets

Hey there,
I'm not able to see any presets (and therefore load them), from within TyrellN6, which I installed a couple of days ago.
• My DAW: DP7 (Digital Performer 7.2.4)
• Mac OS 10.6.8.
• Tyrelln6.component location path:
MacHD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/
• TyrellN6 folder (presets) location path:
MacHD/Library/Audio/Presets/u-he/
However, after launching DP7, opening the TyrellN6 instrument, and clicking on LOAD, whereupon the secondary window opens, there are no presets visible or available. Just a semi-translucent dark blue screen, with the word LOCAL (which I clicked on, and it then reveals "MIDI Programs" - but no presets) and USER.
Wondering if I've missed something or haven't correctly installed the component and presets in the right location.
NOTE: I have screenshots of the computer path for the Tyrelln6.component, and for the Presets folder. As well as a screenshot of the TyrellN6 instrument interface after "LOAD" has been clicked on.
But am not clear how to UPLOAD these 3 jpgs to this Forum. I see the "Img*" button above, however, I'm not sure how that works once I click it, with my then being able to upload each of the 3 screenshot jpgs I have from my desktop.
Looking for any help and assistance in rectifying being able to see and load the Presets.
Thanks in advance!

Hi vpg,
the full path to the Tyrell presets has to be
/Library/Audio/Presets/u-he/TyrellN6
I don't have DP installed ATM to check it there, sorry. It works in all other hosts though.

Yeah, that's the path to the Tyrell presets that I have.
But yet no presets appear from within Tyrell when selecting LOAD

Hey pdxindy, pdxindy wrote:If you save a preset, can you then see that one in the preset window?
Excellent question.
So I went ahead and saved a new preset, and YES, I can see that ONE newly saved preset in the preset window. After clicking LOAD which then opens the preset window, the newly saved preset appears once I select LOCAL.
Any further suggestions for a next step towards troubleshooting this are most welcomed ~

So if you look in MacHD/Library/Audio/Presets/u-he/TyrellN6 do you see the actual preset files there? If so, you might have a permissions problem in the TyrellN6 directory (or higher)... Make sure the spelling is correct also
If the presets are there and you cannot figure out why they are not visible in Tyrell, you could move them to the same location as the preset you saved... you would at least have access to them then

Your questions helped me to resolve this situation : -) Much appreciation.
Here's what I did to get to the resolution, although I am still not quite sure how or why it was resolved, LOLS.
[1] In responding to your 1st question: Prior to saving the new preset, all the actual preset files you are asking about, were obviously in that preset folder.
[2] What was really strange, is that since saving that new preset, which, when I searched for, showed that it was saved to the very same preset folder that I initially placed in this path MacHD/Library/Audio/Presets/u-he/TyrellN6 -- NONE of the original presets which came with the folder are there anymore. ONLY the new preset which I recently saved was there (along with the MIDI Programs folder).
[3] I decided to unpzip the original zip file that I downloaded, and simply drag all the presets from the unzipped "TyrellN6" folder (not the folder itself) and drop them into the existing "TyrellN6" preset folder which currently only shows the recently saved new preset along with the MIDI Programs folder that's still there.
[4] And....... now, ALL of the original presets that I could not previously see from within the instrument's Preset page, are now visible!
cheers, and thanks for taking the time to engage and to lead me towards resolving this ~

Sure... if you have access to the presets, just place them in the correct location... if not, run the installer againvpg wrote:

vpg, if you can save a preset do this.
1. save a preset with a unique name like "qwerasdfzxcv" or some other string that is very unique.
2. open spotlight and search for the preset name
3. select the option in spotlight to show the folder where the file is located. I can't remember exactly how to do it but I know it can be done.
Once you have that path located you now know where your presets need to go. Just copy/move them from where they are into that other directory.
4. Let the u-he team know what directory they saved to in case it's a bug.
EDIT: nevermind, seems you just did that
. Be sure to do #4 though, it could be a bug.
