Question about Bazille

Has this released yet? Seem that it was suppose to have a release sometime in 2010.
I noticed that there is a alpha or beta public download available for Bazille but I'm a little confused as to whether or not Uhe is allowing folks to use it.
Also I'm looking for something similar to Madrona Labs Aalto synth (Buchla style softsynth) and Bazille appears to be it. (I'm also considering ACE)
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I'm sure Uhe would actively encourage you to check out the Bazille alpha. If you want a left-of-centre modular you'll definitely enjoy playing with it and probably want to buy it when it's finally released. I believe there is to be some kind of Bazille announcement at Musikmesse in April. What that amounts to I don't know but give it a try for sure.

It is just what you are looking for! Bazille is a fantastic synth...
There are a few Bazille presets in the U-he Patch library

The parts for a sequencer are there, some wiring required ... as usual Howard's got some clear, memorable examples in the factory bank. The 'mapping' modulation or LFO2 on tap-map does step-wise stuff; probably the clearest 'sequencer' module. There are other methods too.

Hehehe, the final will be laid out a bit differently.Upright wrote:I'm in LOVE with this synth!!
Looks like it's getting some effects per the effect tab in the lower left. I'm love to see a modulatable (is that a word) Reverb!
We've dropped the bottom left tab. Instead we're adding a Tweak page much like the one in ACE. The effects section might become quite elaborate, but like in Diva and ACE, the multicore option forbids a ModMatrix required to modulate fx, for the time being.
