Cantabile and video capture

I've tried running Cantabile and capturing a demo video with my webcam on the same machine.

The original capture program shipped with the webcam (logitech c920) could not record audio directly.

I've tried another free program called AVS video recorder. But this seems to interfere with Cantabile, either I get a picture and no sound in cantaible or vice versa.

Does anyone out have an idea how I can record simple demo videos with my webcam while recording original audio in sync (without fiddling a cantabile audio recording into the video...)

Thanks for the hint no I haven't tried this.

However it looks like a screen capturing tool. The most recent version is also not free, so there seems to be an older free version still available.

Can fraps also capture from a web cam?

The point is I want to be able also to record some scenes with the keyboard and pc/screen setup, not just what's on the screen.

For screen recording I would need multi monitor recording capability - can fraps do that too?
