In with a bullet, at 23, 10 and 8
And Zebralette is #3 in the free plug-ins too.

I wouldn't take that poll too seriously...
McDonalds is very popular but the food is killer
Zebra and Diva deserve to be higher up in the ratings than that

Nice! Zebra got 5 stars, it should've been in the top 5

They could have at least used a somewhat picture of the Zebra GUI from the last 4 years...

I don't like payed charts. When SA ANA #9 i don't believe my eyes/ears how such an aliasing copycat of sylenth 1 can be above diva.
Murderous duck!

Still, pretty good going for a modestly-sized company such as u-he to get 3 plug-ins in that list.

I assure you we haven't paid anything to be in those charts... I was surprised as anyone to be up that high for such a new synth but we have big community at SA and the feedback on ANA from our users has been overwhelmingly positive.david.beholder wrote:I don't like payed charts. Myself and the other guys at sonic have produced a few top 40 uk hits in our time so we know whats needed to make great tracks and we all use it everyday in our productions.
Bottom line is it makes some great useable sounds. Yes some of the digital waves have aliasing (which is fixed in the next build) but its not stopping us from making great tracks which is the ONLY point of these things.

Hmmm, I think we're one of the few companies who advertise in CM, FM and on MR. If anything then we got pushed down to avoid the impression of a paid rankingdavid.beholder wrote:I don't like payed charts. Note: We started advertising after the review of ACE, so being the company with the best overall reviews and awards on CM wasn't bought in any way.

I Don't agree with this ranking.
And whats the criteria here?
1.Complexity and possibilities? - i dont think so - author is bitching about the complexity of Absynth and calls it "scary" - so thats a downside for him.
2.Sound quality and interesting Patches ? - "nice" to see omnisphere here (plugin based on post-processed by external FX samples by professional sound designers is compared to Synths like Diva - completely different purpose tools)
3.And what Sylenth1 is doing on the 1th place. (how many money music radar recived from LennarDigital? - we can only speculate on that)
3.NI Massive on 2th place?
Ok i get it - it's most popular synths list maybe...but then again, they should change the name of this list...(Never hear of ANA before though - but then again im not trendy)
And one more thing - Why they used old Zebra Interface to illustrate actual zebra? to make it look ugly?

The poll is a scam to get traffic to the site, simple as that.Eclipse.Sound wrote:I Don't agree with this ranking.

Well, Music Radar... you definitely could use a deeper primer on synthesis.
Sylenth... number ONE?!?
Oh come on.
I mean, I own and even LIKE Massive, but only because it was free with Maschine... it's nice but kinda overused.
Oh well... so much for "Best Of" polls

People in such polls simply vote for what they use. And often, for what they can crack I'm afraid...
Diva #1
to my ears anyway... Other U-He Synth's, Aalto and Diversion come next. Very subjective top, based on their sound quality and sonic palette.
Diva #1
