"run as admin" requirement: no more in v2.6.2

Hi folks,

I know many of you have complained about this stupid requirement: The necessity to run your DAW as administrator to be able to use SynthMaster. I had the same feeling, so it is time to say goodbye to it

Starting with the next build v2.6.2, SynthMaster will write its temporary application data such as waveform caches, preset metadata, etc. to the Common Documents folder, which is accessible by all users.

Similar behaviour for MacOSX as well: /Users/Shared folder will be used for writing such data on MacOSX.

I hope this update will make SM more user friendly for you guys.

i take it all presets will be moved to a user folder as opposed to the vst folder also?

Cool.
Never had this isue with synthmaster but it happens with Dune every single time I fire a DAW up.
Dune opens anyway but the message is annoying.

Haven't had this problem since I followed your workaround and created an external folder just for SynthMaster. It'll be nice to be able to put it back in the general .dll folder though. Let it run around and play with the other synth .dlls.

You can already do this by redirecting the data folder of SynthMaster to a shared folder location. See the user manual
