Have recently used (for the first time) the "Set Value1 Grid" function in automation sequences, which works great.

As always: 'Possible' = yes. But i link this FR to another FR: the request for a more uniform automation system, instead of having a dual system of breakpoint-based envelopes and event-based automation sequences. I'll evaluate if both can be merged into 1 system, wich would be the breakpoint-based envelope system. If that would be the case your FR above is implicitly delivered too.

A migration into a uniform automation system would be great. It would be fine if Mux, VST and Midi could be driven in the same way, especially for pitch bends.
What do you mean with "breakpoint-based envelope system"? The existent automation parts?
