Pretty sure the multiples (below the filters) are what you want to look at. The ACE manual should have a text description, I think Howard Scarr might have done a YouTube video as well.

Yep, the Multiples are way to go.
The ACE manual is a very comprehensive source of knowledge about them, as are some ACE tutorial videos.
The RM input works as VCA modulation source on inputs 1 and 2, and reversely so on inputs 3 and 4. The two gain pots control the "amount of VCA modulation". It's quite flexible, really.
