mWobbler - Need more gain control

I must say this plugin is very cool, but its also killing my ears!! When I try to run through presets with this plugin, even with AGC on, some of the presets are WAY too loud still!! Even when I have the gain down to -24db they are STILL too loud, and much louder than the input!!
Why is this? Any ideas on how to fix this? Is it possible to get gain control of -48db, and possibly available on the main page? Maybe take a page out of izotopes book and allow the in/out meters in the plugin to also be gain sliders?
Thanks in advance for your reply. Do you have a date on when the intro offer ends? Cant seem to find it anywhere. I'm still demoing the plugin, but would obviously not want to miss the intro deal!

+1 I also find the gain hard to control and second the suggestion to turn the meters into sliders.LGK_Dude wrote:I must say this plugin is very cool, but its also killing my ears!! Well, we'll see, but the presets are actually tuned to have approximately the same level as the input. The reason for the higher gain is the distortion and some filters can be also very resonant. What kind of audio are you using?
Anyway the AGC should almost always fix the loudness. It will seem louder, because the output is almost always spectrally richer, but the actual levels should be approximately the same. I suggest using faders in your host then if that's too much.
Yeah, and the intro deal is ending in 12 hours

I find just about any signal - (e.g. just scroll through the bass presets in synthmaster) has the output meter on full yellow or flickering slightly for 'Wobbling 2", even with AGC on. There is no way it is matching the input.
If you have it, try BA Classic Goa 303. Input is steady below -12db, output is maxed out at 0.

Hmmm, can you send me some audio? ("BA Classic Goa 303" not really sure what that is)

Sorry, it's a synthmaster preset.
I was looking at the audio and maybe I misunderstand something about what I am seeing.
The audio level does not rise much in my DAW, but the meter readout in MWobbler shows -12db in, 0db out?

It's possible. Imagine you take a pure sine wave at say -12dB. Then you run it through the plugin. It first performs some form of distortion adding higher harmonics, these add to the original sine, potentially increasing peak level pretty much. Then you use a few filters, which also disperse the phase of harmonics increasing the peak level even more. The meters are not good for judging loudness, you have to use your ears.
