Today's contributions are based around filters/EQ.

1) Parallel EQ
Since some time i read Parallel EQ a lot without knowing what it is. So i started researching and implement one.
This one appears to work like Kush Audio's Clariphone (i have not seen or heard one) in the sense that it can boost only, not cut (this is because of the phase relations of the EQ topology) and it is shelves only, no bell shape.
But it does sound different to the regular EQs. Give it a try!
Note: Although GAIN shows up to 24dB level increase, reality is close to half of the actual read out.

2) Filterbank
This is influenced from the filterbank you find in Guitar Rig.
Eight bands, the Stretch parameter moves higher bands toward the low end with all bands below 150Hz when Stretch is full on, the Shift parameter moves everything up to higher frequencies.

3) Nu Filter
If you crank up resonance of the Mulab stock multi mode filter, the resonance frequency is boosted by 32dB. Which can easly overpower your signal. You can turn levels down, but then you loose low end.
Nu Filter will squeal away with no loss of low end and without pushing your levels significantly. It's meant for use in a synth, so i have a little zip file containing a Musynth with this filter setup, a MUX with a polysynth containing the filter, plus a MUX with the filter as an effect.
If you want to copy it into your own creations, the secret lies in the second filter, which is a shelve and the meta parameter for Q.
Note: The filter has the interesting characteristic that it's a 12dB filter with no resonance and a 24dB filter with high resonance.

As usual the patches can be found HERE.
The first two in the Effects/Filter-EQ folder, the last under Instruments

Enjoy!

Thanks Andreas! Will soon give them a try :tu:
