I installed Diva, can see it in the plugin database, but when I try to add it it produces an empty window. It says: 'there was a fatal error loading the plugin editor'.
FL 11. On demo mode.
Thanks,
PS: I can see the .dll in the right folders. I tried not installing vst 3, but still same problem. I'm new to FL, just demoing.

Hey,
We've got a lot of weird reports from FL 11, so I'm not sure what's going on.
Have you tried another host such as Hermann Seib's excellent and free SaviHost?

If you send an email to support at u-he dot com, I can send you a special version of Savihost that helps us debug your issue...

Thanks Urs,
I've been fighting with DCP spikes for two days. Got it to work just now. The last thing I want to do is more debugging.
My B-day is coming, and I'm going to get one big purchase, but it won't be anything that forces me to do any more busywork that is not music.

What's a DCP spike?
Other than that, fair enough... sometimes stuff doesn't "just work" - hope you find something that does

Well, for most people she works just fine... as you don't want to do any debugging (which I totally understand), I won't ever be sure when this thing is fixed in either FL 11, Diva or your system... hence all I can do is recommend to stay tuned and try the next update of FL and/or Divaurlwolf wrote:And, Urs, if you find the solution for diva under FL 11, please ping me.

I get the same problem if I use the 64bit version. The 32bit seems to work. I guess it is FL11s. 64bit wrapper that is the problem.

64 Bit flstudio is still in beta status..the wrappers are still in testing can wait to have my emulator x3 in working in flstudio..
There is tread in the image line forum about the emulator x where one of the programmers posted different versions of 64bit wrappers for testing ...

That's right, 32bit never failed on any of my FL Studio versions yet.

Where do I see which version I have ? This is win 64, but 'about' in FL11 says nothing about architecture.
Is there ANY daw that lets me play music without worrying about this stuff at all? My experience is pretty miserable.

Those are called "Pianos" pretty amazing things, no booting, no installation, no latency - just play...

Cheers,
Tom

I haven't updated from FL10 to FL11 yet on my win7 pc and right now I have open FL9 on XP. I see the downloaded zip carries 32bit and 64bit, but XP deoesn't recognise the 64bit obviously. Then there are vst2 and vst3 versions and the vst3 version doesn't install on FL9 (or XP?) so I have only one choice when selecting from the list of plugins. You may see more. I know most plugins that have 32 and 64 will show two instances in FL and it is usually the top one that is 32bit but there are exceptions to this.
Check to see if you have more than one Diva in the plugins generator list and if so deselect the one that is checked and try another.
Good luck with it.

I meant to add; I'm sure you know all this anyway, but it might be of help to someone else, if not to you and not limited to Dune.
