1. Is there sq80 waveforms converted to zebra2 format? If no, do anybody has some knowledge about it?

2. How to reach dirt, warmth, 8bitness in osc sound similar to 5503DOC that used in SQ80? I believe zebra OSC module can do somewhat close, but how?

For sure SQ80 wavetables can be found in obvious location http://www.buchty.net/ensoniq/ already converted to aiff

Question of mine: how to convert them to zebra format?

not really sure if aiff format is supported.. but I used to convert wave files into zebra osc files with this: http://sourceforge.net/projects/blueberrything/

...or "wav2zebra2" https://sites.google.com/site/wav2zebra2/Home
Unfortunately, neither of these tools has been developed beyond the alpha stage.

Please Tell how if you get Good results

Don t want to bomb this tread but the propellerheads Subtractor has also a few waveforms that could interesting for getting it into zebra

Wave2Zebra2 works, but it's a bit buggy - random points in a converted waveform will sometimes be set to the minimum value. It's pretty easy to spot these, they're little negative spikes, and you just have to drag the point back to fit in between its neighbors, but it means you may have to do some tedious manual massaging of the results to get them to sound right.

I'm planning to spend an entire Sunday this week on conversion. I'll write down if I have any sane results.

Howard, do you know who is an author of wav2zebra2?

Please let us know (if and) how the conversion went!

What exactly is the Zebra format? Is it a propriety binary file? Has Urs published the spec?
Incomplete list of my gear: 1/8" audio input jack.

Thanks Howard and bluedad, I've just tested it and I'm being able to convert aiffs to osc-h2ps:

You can find firs two (alien and bass1) in here: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id= ... sp=sharing

1. There's more than wave per wavetable (usually 4) and they should be changed based on half of octaves. I.e. how to change wave param discrete and based on which key is played?

2. How to emulate 5503DOC's grit, warmth etc?

3. Is there any description for zebra h2p format by itself? I think it's not that hard to write sq80 .syx 2 zebra2 h2p converter
