Mdrummer: how to use as a sound bank?

Hello, hope you are well. I've used Mdrummer on a few songs now, but only using Rhythm Generator.
I have heard there is some mode to access all the sounds in a loaded kit as a sound bank, spread across the keyboard, so that I may sequence the sounds manually in my DAW.
Could you set me on the right path with this method? Currently I seem to only able to trigger the fills and start the base rhythm looping via midi triggering, but not able to trigger oneshot style samples...
Thanks all!

On the main screen, just below the 'Rhythm Generator' button in the upper right, there is a button 'Switch to drum pad mode'. Select that and you should be able to use midi notes for each pad. I'm pretty sure it's standard GM mapping.

Watching one of the new tutorials, I caught the brief blurb about using MIDI channel 10. That also seems to go direct to the drumset, so that's also an option.
I really wish there was a proper Users Guide for MDrummer.
And I REALLY wish the online help system didn't use different font colors on a page. It seems like every time I try to customize my color scheme I lose parts of the help text into the background.
