Hi Frantz,Frantz wrote:I especially like the bassline - smooth and dark. The track is good but I wish it were more minimal. You mentioned in the other thread that it was made from a soundbank. It sounds like you crammed in a lot of extra sounds in order to fully demo the soundbank which makes it pretty busy.
It might be interesting to take off your sound designer hat once in a while and create a piece of music regardless of the sound sources.Lotuzia wrote:Yes, you're right, its a bit busy, and I think the main reason is the difference between the regular ChillOut/Lounge part, and the ambient bridge and outro.

Good work
Thanks Jethrobull. Bass works in contrast with the more or less str8 global rythm.jethrobull wrote:Nice! really like the movement on the bass
Well there's no such thing as some keys as you describe them actually, there's only one keys preset, and it makes it all. Its the track basis actually, and I morphed it in real time to make bar résolutions, transitions, etc.Frantz wrote:It might be interesting to take off your sound designer hat once in a while and create a piece of music regardless of the sound sources.Lotuzia wrote:Yes, you're right, its a bit busy, and I think the main reason is the difference between the regular ChillOut/Lounge part, and the ambient bridge and outro.
Even in the initial section, I think there are unnecessary parts. For example, there is a rhythmic keyboard part hitting the 1st and 2nd beats along with the kick drums. I don't think that part is adding anything.
It has taken me years to figure out how to boil down my music to the essential parts. I spent a decade making busy, cluttered music because I wasn't sure of or confident in what I was doing.
Thanks a lot Wolf.TrekStar wrote:an excellent Sound selection, good Keyboard playing and relaxed mood. definitely my Cup of tea.
