Hi Guys,
How will will be notified about the Satin beta - I was under the impression that it would be released before the end of June, is that not the plan?
Apologies if I've got this wrong..
I check the forum twice a day just for this!
I will be buying it on release without question.. love your plugs!

Well, thanks for having faith in us... very flattering and much appreciated
We're currently in the process of getting the last steps finalized, although we can't forsee the AAX port right now for an initial release. We still plan to do a public beta at the end of next week (before I'll be on vacation for 2 weeks), but that just isn't certain yet, no matter with or without AAX. Perhaps it will lack presets and the manual for the beta, at least.
We'll try our best. Be assured we're eager for a release as well

Hi
Thanks so much for your response, sorry to hound you.
I have been using the UAD Studer A800 and Ampex plugs since they came out - i'm very vey keen in a U-HE version. Typically I use these types of plugs for extreme sound bending and mangling and very gentle tweaking and smoothing. Your design looks like a tweakers dream.
Thanks for all your work and lively conversation and debate with your public and buyers.
Looking forward to end of next week! yeehaa.

We'll try... but it's literally just 3 full days with Sascha and I'm not sure if I can implement the last missing features from my side over the weekend... so my bets are on a public beta/release after Sascha's holidays

Before we see the first hundred threads moaning and complaining about you leaving without giving us the Beta which (of course) we're fully entitled to:

Maybe Thursday or so...Dunc wrote:Is Sascha back from holiday ?
Unfortunately Clemens has started to rip a central part of the codebase into shreds. It'll take a few days to reassemble it (but it'll be much, much better, from our dev perspective)

Hey, Sascha, welcome back! How was your holiday? No, no real news here. We may have completely refactor... Aaahmmmm.... OPTIMIZED a little bit. No, nothing important. It's really mostly dusting off the pixie dust and replacing it with children's dreams.Urs wrote:Maybe Thursday or so...Dunc wrote:Is Sascha back from holiday ?

On a more serious note: I love optimized code, makes my low spec system happy.

My music usually sound horrible, but adding Satin on the mixing bus makes a big difference. Everything sounds much better with Satin, even my singing is in tune now.
