using shortcircuit sampler in MuLab

Hi,
I wondered if anyone familiar with the shortcircuit sampler or any similar samplers could help me?
I'm trying to get shortcircuit to send different groups to different outputs. So I want to send the snare to outputs 3 & 4 for further processing. The problem is, when I send them to output 3+4 I get silence - the VU above the display is moving showing signal, but I hear nothing, even though in MuLab's signal view I have the second output going into a delay unit and then to the Master. Any ideas?
Thanks

If the VU in Shortcircuit is showing signal it is definitely sending, so it must be something in Mulab.

Maybe post a simple musession demonstrating the problem. That way we can see the routings.

I have played around a bit with Shortcircuit a while ago and therefore created a MUX preset which handles the multiple outputs of the sampler. You can download it here. You probably will have to replace the shortcircuit inside, since it may sit in another place on your hard disk.
Hope that helps

Cheers on sharing that preset McPanic.
Thanks to the Plugin Manager, MuLab (and MUX Vst) makes abstratction of the plugin file location. If the plugin file name is the same (and i suppose that will be the case), it will be found.McPanic wrote:You probably will have to replace the shortcircuit inside, since it may sit in another place on your hard disk.

Drop the preset onto your disk and let MuX know where it is, open it up, route the outputs where you want them, I guess.

I'm still not getting this. I've made a new rack, added the shortcircuit multi out to it, but I don't know how to change the outputs. Session looks like this.

Any help would be appreciated!

If you open up the "Shortcircuit Multi Out" entry in the rack, you'll see what to do. It actually contains a MuX with eight racks, presented with just the gain/pan options. If you go into the deep editor of the patch you'll see how that's set up.
If you want more flexibility, see what's happening in the deep editor of this patch and do your own thing with that as the starting point.
