Anyone else experience big CPU hit when Kirnu GUI open?

I noticed that when the GUI is open, a very small Cubase 6 project with Kirnu and one loaded synth VSTi leads to a big CPU spike.

CPU usage goes from about 5 to 6 percent when the GUI is closed to about 24 to 26 percent when it is open and the project is running.

Is anyone else experiencing anything of that magnitude?

I don't experience that type of jump with any other open GUI when open while running.

No, But I'm using Reaper so maybe it's a Cubase specific issue.

I have Reaper as well, so I'll try opening Kirnu on the same computer and see if it's a platform or system issue.

BTW these was under WinXP with the 32 bit plugin.

Okay, I'm using Windows 8 and 64 bit.

Hey, Como. I'm using Reaper 32 bit on Windows XP 32 bit. No CPU spike when the Cream GUI is open. Sorry, I don't have Cubase to test.
