Logic Pro X is here with no 32-bit support or bridge:

You can purchase Logic Pro X in the Mac App Store.

Some communication from the developer would be very helpful to the Mac customer base at this point, not to mention all the "Preset" sound designers.

Will Mr. Lennard update to 64-bit on Mac?

I'm heavily invested in Sylenth1, hundreds of dollars spent on the plugin and presets.

Emails regarding an update go unanswered.

At a crossroads - today

I already deleted Sylenth it's a sad day :-( No longer useable with Logic Pro X maybe an e-mail to Lennard's support might get an answer?

I was hoping Lennard would announce Apple buying Sylenth, integrating a great synth into Logic Pro X and Lennard a happy rich bloke... Never mind.

Post

really sad...have been waiting for LX for a long time. but...S1 is one of my most-used synths. now what? so am happy to see new logic, and sad to lose sylenth1...my last remaining 32bit plug.

will spend a week converting all my S1 parts to audio. then...delete the plug. i guess. UGH.....

Yeah this really sucks, I still like to use Sylenth and I will for sure be upgrading to Logic X. I guess Sylenth is going to be retired without an upgrade.

LennarDigital such lame company.

made vst and disappear.. not give any update and answers.

i think they only want our money ..

Post

Looks like we need a 32bit to 64bit AU bridge.... NOW!!!!!!

I can't upgrade until Soundtoys and all the other very important players bring out 64bit versions so a bridge would be a life saver. Not to mention a profitable idea for somebody like mr J bridge. I stopped using vst's a long time ago...

Post

Really annoyed at this - going to try Jbridge now. Might switch to Ableton.

Post

jbridge? isn't that for vsts? no way to run 32bit plugs in LX... am deep into converting ALL my S1 parts (on all current songs, etc) to audio...so i can move to X. aaaaaaargh...!

wrote to lennar digital a few times already. it really seems to be a dead company. maybe they spend our money already on the caribic islands 8) 8)

anyway. i think, there will be a bridge earlier than a sylenth2

last news on the homepage is november 2008. what do you expect ?!?!

Post

I hope a 64bit version comes out, but let's be honest: how would you feel if your plugin's most used licensekey is adressed to teAM aRcAdE and shit...

Post

i just spent HOURS bouncing sylenth1 parts to audio...LOTS of bouncing. installed LX, and am exploring it. i will manage with S1...if that's what i have to do. IF we ever see a 64bit AU, or a sylenth2...i will be ON IT in a SECOND.

until then, R.I.P....
