I've searched the forum a bit and found some good information, but not exactly the answer to my question, so I thought I'd post it here:

Sometime during the Diva beta, I thought I remember reading Urs posting something to the effect of "if you have Zebra2 already, then you probably don't really need Diva" (or something.. I may have it wrong.. or maybe I imagined it!).

I've not had a lot of time the last year or so to do much with sound design and synth patch programming (birth of my daughter sort of took over my free time :D). Anyway, I was wondering if the above statement is still true. From what I've read it sounds like Diva has evolved quite a bit, and that statement is probably false (in which case, I'll kick myself for not getting it when it was released!).

Never was true - they are 2 very different concepts. Kick yourself ;-)

Then buy it immediately! :)

(There is an upcoming update but it is free so no need to wait for that.)

Well, the statement was true until we conceived those filters. Which was a long time after we came up with the concept and the statement

Yeah, I've just been playing with the demo for an hour or so this afternoon, and wow.. this is very different from the last time I messed around with it (I found installers for beta builds 338 and 472 on my drive, for a point of reference).

Curse you, Urs! :D Keep a lookout for my order in the next day or two!
