I am reading the quick start manual, but cant find an answer.
There are 2 voices for each layer each of it cant have different sound generating methods such as Basic, vector, wavescanning and so on.
Now.
Next to,lets say OCS 1 are two waves I can choos for on OSC.
On the right side there are 4 Envelops and some other kind of envelops.
Can I assign this envelops to on of this two waves for an OSC?
So that on sound comes with a long attacktime and another with a short on???
Cant find this in the quickstart thing.
Thanks

Short answer: yes, if I understand your question.
Each layer has two oscillators and four ADSR envelope generators (as well as two multi-stage envelope generators, and 2 X-Y generators). You can modulate the volume of each of the oscillators with a different ADSR (or even with 2) within each layer.
Steps
1. Select OSC1
2. Right click on OSC1 volume (left lower corner)
3. Choose Modulation Source 1 > Voice > ADSR Envelope 1
4. Select OSC2
5. Right click on OSC2 volume (left lower corner)
6. Choose Modulation Source 1 > Voice > ADSR Envelope 2
The amount of modulation is set for each one separately in the modulation matrix on the right.

You can do the same thing using just the modulation matrix. Also, this is in the guide under Modulation Sources.

Oh, thanks.
That explains much how the synth works.
Its a really cool software.
Art renaissance project is just at that moment working on a new soundbank for Synthmaster.
Cheers

I made a preset that's similar in a way, except I used used the different LFOs on the Oscs (assigned to pan) in the Additive Osc, so they were each panning around seperately, cool effect

I started a new preset from scratch.FLWrd wrote:Short answer: yes, if I understand your question.

First voíce of the first ocs i set a long attacks time with adrs envelop 1.
Second voice i wanted a short attack time and assigned adrs envelop 2 to the second voice.
But it still uses the first envelop from voice on.
Whats wrong here??
cheers

In the default preset, ADSR 1 controls the volume of the layer, which is the mix of OSC1 and OSC2. Look at the first two entries in the modulation matrix.classic wrote:Whats wrong here?

So what do I have to do, to get this different attack times for two voices?FLWrd wrote:In the default preset, ADSR 1 controls the volume of the layer, which is the mix of OSC1 and OSC2. Look at the first two entries in the modulation matrix.classic wrote:Whats wrong here?

Remove the modulation from ADSR1 to the layer volume for the layer you're working in (or for both layers). First clear the destinations in the modulation section (the column on the right), then the source. I've seen something vaguely resembling a manual or a wiki; I think it's a sticky in this forum section.

OP, you seem to be confused about what the Modulation Matrix is and what it does. I strongly suggest you read about this in the manual.
