Bitwig shows off a fairly good modulation system. Mulab can do most of that but that just shows that other DAWs are catching up to Mulab.

MuLab = Power AND Simplicity AND Portability AND Modular as of "Now".
BitWig..... Different approach.
Like Live, Bitwig and its Session View makes them a must in that area of creativity.

Is it still in beta phase?
After all that testing it will become a serious competitor to any DAW out there, right from the start...
But it looks more complex than Mulab, almost at Reaper level. Probably too much for me
I like the user interface a lot, though...

I think Bitwig will rather be a competitor to Ableton Live, not so much to MuLab. MuLab is much more light-weighted, aimed for simplicity and not for as many features as possible.
