Ok heregoes .
Select an osc ...preferably a sine wave and set to a low freq.value .
Now insert the 'side band module( freq .shifter )
Applie just a little bit of freq.shifting..set freq .mode to 10 Hz ,and now set value between 10 and 20 ...if you listen carefell you can hear some high pitch noise ( in khz) , modulating at the same freq. as the freq.shifter .
Ofcourse when the source signal has a lotof overtones , the high pitch noise will not be audible , it will be masked by the signal overtones
Just checck it out

What revision/version is this? We had a noise fixed about a year ago...

Post

Urs, I cannot reproduce this with the 64 bit version Rev 1559. Running Zebra2 at 48kHz.

@gentleclockdivider, can you post a preset to try?

Post

I also was not able to reproduce it

Also can't reproduce it. Checking with a spectral analyzer down to -72db. The only way I can make inadvertent overtones with the SB module is by modulating the mix amount, however I think that's a limitation of the design.

I am using 2.5 demo version.
Weel maybe I wasn't to clear , the noise is really not loud , it just when using a tiny amount of freq. shifting and the source signal must not have high freqencies ( vale between 10 and 30 of freqshifter ) , mode to 10 hz , there is an audible high pitched noise , verrry silent though ...

You need to use 2.6, really. No more noise in there.
