The more u-he's synths like Zebra and ACE make me regret buying any other VST synth. The tone and texture of the u-he synths just seems so smooth and sexy. The only other synths I believe even fall close to this category is MauSynth and AAS Ultra Analog.
Seriously u-he your team has developed some SUPER smooth and deep sounding synths. DIVA is on my list!
Thank you for the purity!

You are right on. (I never used MauSynth and I agree on UA)vata44 wrote:The more u-he's synths like Zebra and ACE make me regret buying any other VST synth. My signature shows the order in which I approach my projects ATM.
However, the list may change but not the first one

Diva is my next uhe purchase. It is freakin incredible!! I have owned it before but very foolishly sold it .. anyhow i am going to buy it again because i don't think anything else can really do as good of a job in emulating the bigger classic polysynthesizers.
I've been messing about with the demo and making some small clips of my sonic exploration using Divine mode and in 24bit 96khz audio.

I also own Satin which is not a synth but it is pack full of incredible amounts of detail.
I will never be letting these two go, they are really special and are full of an organic quality i don't normally associate with software.

I agree with Zebra 2 and have to add HZ to the list of personal favorites. I like the AAS UAs also.
But Mau was a complete disappointment and waste of time to me.

Is HZ a separate synth or is it simply a Preset bank?

And don't forget Bazille and Satin... they are also outstanding together!!

It's an extended version of Zebra2 - additional filters, resonator, compressors on voice lanes, etc - as a separate plug-in file, plus presets.vata44 wrote:Is HZ a separate synth or is it simply a Preset bank?

You say the more you listen to Zebra and Ace? I totally agree with you. In my case its Zebra HZ and Diva.I have many other synthesizer plugins, but I cannot keep my hands off Zebra. It just really makes me happy to have this instrument for my music.I spend hours every day creating new sounds.

Hey Vata44!
Welcome to the wonderland!
After years without a GOOD synth, I needed a new voice for the new music I was after.. so... I hunted down Zebra... literally went on Safari™ (Mac) and tracked the serious, 5-star synths... read reviews, shoot-outs, "best-of" lists to narrow the field.
After trying some possible options, I found Zebra to have the most "under the hood" and purchased.
Very complete... and I find more in there EVERY TIME I MAKE A PATCH!
