Since live performance features are low to zero priority with Mulab users, I decided to avoid hogging up the "What's Next" thread and create a separate Live Performance FR thread.
Utilizing the ability to have multiple compositions in Mulab as the foundation, these requests basically ask for multiple "instances" of Mulab which can be triggered and manipulated for realtime live performance:
1. Option to send racks to specific compositions. This allows each composition to have exclusive racks. A nice way to implement this is to make this available in the Rack's right click menu. RACK--> r. click-->
Send to:
-Composition A
-Composition B,
-Composition C etc.
Each rack can be set to one or multiple compositions.
2. Option to have exclusive MIDI CC/Note settings per composition. This way a performer can have the option to set specific MIDI CCs/Notes to affect all or exclusive compositions.
3. A composition grid where each composition can be triggered via MIDI (IE: with a Novation Launchpad).
One possible way this ability can be implemented without creating a Grid is to have the option to set the composition to a MIDI CC/Note available in the Edit Properties section of the right click menu.
4. With the third request, it's obvious that compositions should have the capability to be triggered (play) simultaneously or in sequence but just in case I thought i'd state the obvious.
5. Include various trigger modes (toggle, gate, trigger etc.).
6. Include a "Follow Action" feature (ala Ableton Live clips) where one can set each composition to automatically play "X" amount of bars before playing the next composition. Compositions can be played in consecutive order or random order. This option is great for those performers who want to focus on effect manipulation, instrument playing etc.
7. Option for compositions to playback at cursor point or at the beginning of the composition when triggering (this feature would be ideal if it could be set to MIDI CC/Note)

It would be awesome if Mulab would get some kind of clip launch/session view like Ableton.
