Here's another device they're about to announce

currently on display behind frosted glass at their Berlin showcase tonight, as yet unannounced but will be available soon. And it's not a unit that will replace any of their existing line-up, so totally new...

It is quite exciting but if this is a poly keyboard version of the A4, I think Elektron will need to implement better sounding oscillators and filters.

The A4 sound is fine for a 4 x mono sequencer box, but probably wouldn't work so well as as a 12 voice poly (for example).

You may have a point there. I can see how that could end up sounding muddy fast.
But judging by the two boxes I have, the octa and a4, I think these guys can implement it! Personally I'd love to see a deep FM or additive box

One thing I would like is a 2 or 4 channel Elektron mixer with effects and maybe some midi master capabilities ie. sync out, Program change etc. 2 effects for each track and 2 effects for the master.

Yay Turnado in a box with P-lock would be awesome although a silent Octatrack mk2 is still my favorite dream.

I wished i could make it to Berlin but hope someone will stream or record the event at least.

early december, according to official elektron rep.
the Analog4 is getting an OS update which makes it true polyphonic too...

full tech specs aren't released yet {a few more days yet}, but besides the obvious keys/joystick advantage it seems the Analog Keys has individual outs for the voices, something the Analog4 apparently lacks. I guess we'll find out more later.

as a controller keyboard/sequencer it's pretty appealing. some more cv outs would be nice. waiting on the price...
