The big one for me is that it doesn't seem possible to completely reset individual modulators in the modulation assignments page. I've tried the usual double/control/alt/etc clicking and can't find anything about it in the manual. Is this possible? It seems that the only way to do it is by clicking the X in the bottom right corner to kill all modulations, but that means remaking the the entire modulation scheme from scratch. The sonic difference between the minimal possible modulation (by shift-click dragging as close to zero as possible) and no modulation is huge on most parameters.
Secondly, and I appreciate this one is kind of a long shot, either an oversampling option or consistency in sound across different sample rates would be very handy. It's very easy to make the Spectromat (particularly when using non sine waveforms) and Phase Stressor synthesis units alias very audibly at 44.1kHz when trying to manipulate the high end of the sound. This aliasing is almost entirely gone at 96kHz, but the Transformer synthesis unit sounds radically different at various sample rates with identical settings. This makes running at 44.1kHz but switching up to 96kHz for the render impractical when using this unit (I do all the time because I love it!) The entire project, Cyclop and all, has to be run at 96kHz from the start, effectively halving the processing power available.
Many people won't run into the aliasing stuff at all (particularly if they're not trying to use Cyclop outside the bass end) but the lack of individual modulator reset has me tearing my hair out and afraid to merely audition possible modulations sometimes!
Having said all that, I'm enjoying using this synth very much. So happy that I picked this (and Turnado) up in the recent sale. It's a superb, unique instrument that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.
Thanks for your time
