Since I am gradually drifting towards making more and more "acoustical/orchestral" music, I was wondering if Mulab is compatible with UVI software? They seem to use some kind of proprietary platform, and due to the size of their products one can't demo them. Mulab is not on their list of officially supported DAWs.
So, has anyone tested UVI products on Mulab? Any issues or problems?

UVI is doing regular VSTs, so I assume they should be fine.
You can try and download UVI Workstation for free, I think there are some free demos from other UVI libraries you can download and try in UVI Workstation. See how it fares.

Gee, 200+ MB, that is way too big for my mobile Internet access. So, no test, no purchase... 
Regrettable as their stuff looks and sounds very good, judging from the examples.

Well, I live in the middle of nowhere, very rural region...

I asked them as well, they were quite fast to respond actually, saying I should download that huge file and demo content. But that won't fly...mutools wrote:In communication with UVI about this. Stay tuned.
I would have bought the product as a physical medium anyway.
Regarding their platform as such, judging from the UVI site it sounded a bit like the Waves platform, which does not work in Mulab, which is why I sold Element. Hence my doubts...

Waves is using VST shell, this is not the case with UVI.

Element dose work in mulab, you just have to use dll2vst on it.
What is the structural integrity of a compound when it is broken down to its wave form?

Works fine on my Mac... latest UVI and latest OSX build of MuLab. I'm using 10.6.8 still
