One instance of Xlutop Chainer has 10 columns each of which can be triggered by a different midi channel (note on). In Patchwork I notice you have "Global" and "Preset". This is where the midi channels can be set. I don't understand the difference (global and preset). One instance of Patchwork equals one preset? So one instance can only be triggered by one midi channel at a time? In one instance I cannot have split keyboard/channel and must use 2 instances of Patchwork, one for each vsti?
Thanks, John in Calif
Edit..Ok I reread your manual and understand about global ..so one instance = one preset= one midi channel for triggering note on (except for omni) ie needing 2 instances for split keyboard/channel?

MIDI information that can be found in the global or current presets settings are only used to assign MIDI controls the plug-in's parameters.
Otherwise, ALL MIDI DATA sent to the plug-in is forwarded to all VSTs and VSTis that are loaded in the PatchWork plug-in. So there is no filtering on MIDI channel or events. They should ALL be received by the inserted plug-in.
