Have any receptor users tried running this USB breath controller?
http://www.tecontrol.se/products/usb-mi ... controller
I am hoping it will work plugged directly into a pro max running 1.9 and not need a device like the iconnect usb to midi converter.

We have recently launched a new breath controller with a DIN MIDI output. This will work with any keyboard/synthesizer with traditional MIDI input.nathankingcole wrote:Have any receptor users tried running this USB breath controller?

I received the Tecontrol USB/Midi breath controller and it is quite an amazing product! I have been using a Yamaha BC for years. I loved the feel of the Tecontrol- the software editor they created allows very precise customization of how the unit responds. Their headset is simple and much more comfortable(and less geeky looking) than the Yamaha. I feel much more relaxed taking this to gigs- instead of a delicate wire leading to my rack, it is an easily replaceable rubber tube. Congratulations and thanks to Tecontrol for filling the breath controller void!
If you use any wind or string sounds and haven't tried using a breath controller with your Receptor I highly recommend trying it out! Using breath to shape dynamics opens up a whole world of deeper expression with virtual instruments.
