Minimoog Shootout - Diva (2012) vs Model E (2000)

I just made this little video and blog post to show how far emulation has come in 12 years. Diva of course dominates Model E, but its quite interesting to hear how.

I know it only scratches the surface, but it does show how the basics have evolved!

I was actually surprised that the difference weren't bigger. That is, until the resonance got involved. Educational!

Great idea and nicely presented. Might be interesting to throw Minimoog V and Minimonsta in there as well.

Playing the notes in the treble range with a touch of vibrato usually shows the older oscillators up.
